They say your first memory tells a lot about who you are. Mine is playing a game with my mom and brother.
I have loved games all my life. And I’ve been always curious about how technology works. Ever since I played story-driven titles such as Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, I knew I wanted to learn more about the games industry. That passion and curiosity eventually led me into blogging about games between 2008 and 2010. I previewed, reviewed and posted news about different titles, but I also interviewed developers of games such as Starcraft II, Sonic the Hedgehog, Silent Hill and Alan Wake.
The blog was a way of understanding the games industry and networking with developers, knowing I would eventually transition into game development. Since then, I have worked on an assortment of different projects, either as a writer or level designer, making sure what I did worked well with what the team needed.
I recently graduated with honors from Vancouver Film School’s Game Design program and started working on the Fallout Cascadia mod for Fallout 4. I’m focusing on helping teams write engaging narrative-driven experiences, as well as making sure I communicate effectively with every game developer I work with.
